To close, I want to be clear that the Ventus is an awesome fit for me. I currently play the Graphite Design Tour AD GP 6S and the Ventus sounds like an update of this design. Considering a lot of time has passed, materials have evolved quite a bit as well. So the moral is, especially when talking about high end, expensive shafts.. try and go get a fitting with your preferred golf ball. The Ventus logo has a crisp, futuristic look. The Ventus Blue in equal flex to the Ping Tour is probably a little softer feeling, so going up a flex might make them very close. Sounds like a great shaft to put in my new Epic Flash. As such, it's best suited to players with fast clubhead speeds. I found the Ventus to be lower launcing and stiffer feeling. I would really appreciate the 60S. I would go with the 50g R2 flex. There's no objective measure that says one is better than the other other than going to get fit and seeing what suits you better from a numbers standpoint.
