I i I left my job every night with a, with a pretty girl and a pocket full of cash. Wait, you do that guy. I was like, I'll go to rehab, but I'm gonna stay drunk for the next three days. Yeah. I was out on stage the other night and there was about 12,000 people at the show. The concert that he has with his band also proven to be always successful with hundreds of people comes to every concert they had. I think I, I try to be careful of it. Being a bartender is my true passion in life cuz it was the greatest job I ever had, better than being in a rock band. What happens when more people don't like me than like me? I had to go to rehab five times, you know, before I committed to it, you know, And, and then I had to spend three months there. He is the youngest of five children, and has Polish (father) and English and German (mother) ancestry. That, that's really easy. Um, and I was quite honestly, I was, was like, you know, we were broke. And it gave me writer's block and all this. And there were five kids. The plane crashed near an industrial area a few miles to the south of the Little Rock airport. I am always the bartender. We just wrote about risk. Yeah. And that's why I think it's, it's the, you know, people who really are suffering with PTSD and things like that, they really need to be cared for by people that can be trusted. He looks amazing, and he's still drinks tequila. It's, that's bullshit. You, you, it's, it's amazing. They just internalized. . But once again, that guy was an everyday warrior because I don't know how you get up every morning at four 30 in the morning, go to work, carry mail, work at the post office, and then drink a quarter whiskey and then get up and do it every day for 20 something years. It's like, no, I'm not the baby. Woo gives me the creeps thinking about it. Isn't. Likewise respect likewise and, uh, much respect. I mean, you, you, what you do is much was what you were doing was much more serious. But, but, but, uh, like most beautiful things in life, I mean, the women in my life have always been strong and, and compassionate. Im grateful that song came into my life.. Sometimes he would be like, Get in the car, we're getting outta here cause it's all women. That that must have been another innate skill you have. John Rzeznik: John Rzeznik: And then, but I had to, I got really drunk, got on an airplane, came back to the States, and I was like, That's it, I'm done flying. News websites are often slow. Like I am not the identified, I became the identified patient, which leads to victimhood in a way. That took a lot of moral courage to do that. And I do want discuss another, another thing with that, that I've, I've come, cuz I've, I've had a lot of time to reflect on my military experience. That's what I up, Mike Sarraille: Um, you know, I think you do need to open up and you need to be help, but you, but I, I think that the problem, because like, I went to therapy for like, and I still go to therapy in little blocks of time. I call them when I'm in trouble. You know, because, and I found that too in the, in the, in the uh, recovery community. John Rzeznik: But, uh, you know, that's, you know, that happens with brothers all the time, you know, and he is very much my brother in, in, in a lot of ways. That's all. It's like really trying to, and I'm getting older, so it's kind of like, Oh man, just gimme that bed. Let me deal with it. John Rzeznik: It's, it's an indulgence that can become very addictive, you know? We, we sort of, my heart broke over and over and over again for, uh, you know, for my town, you know, because cuz the bills are like everything, you know, and the city, you know, I love my city and it's always gonna be my home and my whole family still lives there. And I truly believe that the universe helped me and some people that, that. It's my life. So first one is, biggest regret of your life in here. And when this came through, they said, Hey, do you want to interview John Resnick? We are living in really scary, tenuous times. Is that correct? Um, you know, I know you spoke about your wife prior to, uh, to us hit and record here, but you know, I've, I found a woman who was very strong-willed, but will break down and cry when she knows I'm, uh, I'm in pain.
